Eyebrow microblading is an ancient technique for creating beautiful semi-permanent eyebrows. Originally developed in Asia, microblading is also known as microstroking, micropigmentation, eyebrow embroidery, eyebrow feathering or 3D eyebrows.
The microblading technique is similar to a cosmetic tattoo, but there are three major differences that make microblading a better, more natural-looking option than permanent cosmetics:

1. The individual strokes are drawn on one by one with a microblade tool, creating the flawless look of real hair – unlike the block effect of a tattoo. The microblade tool looks similar to a scalpel with a series of microneedles instead of a blade, which are dipped into a selected colour of pigment and then used to make a fine cut, or micro stroke, in the skin.

2. The pigment used has a base of iron oxide, which is often used in cosmetics like eyeshadow, lipstick, blush and foundation. Iron oxide allows the colour to softly fade over time and ultimately vanish, unlike the inks used in permanent cosmetic tattoos.

3. The pigment is implanted into only the upper layer of the dermis, just below the epidermis layer which is constantly growing outwards. This precise positioning means the colour retention will neither be poor (not deep enough) or scarred and blurry (too deep) – so your eyebrows will look crisp and perfect!

With the iron oxide base pigment at the correct depth, the semi-permanent qualities of the microblading technique prevent it from fading into the unnatural shades that are so common with permanent cosmetics.

Microblading is perfect for those who want to fully reconstruct, define, cover gaps, or fill-in over plucked brows. If your eyebrows are gappy , thin or non-existent, this virtually pain-free semi-permanent eyebrow solution will give you brows that are the closest thing to naturally perfect as possible

The semi-permanent results allow a hassle-free look that can still adapt to change. The microblading eyebrow shape and colour can be adapted to fit changes to skin and eyebrow trends that transform over time, meaning your eyebrows will always look flawless.

Microblading is not recommended for anyone diabetic, pregnant, breastfeeding, or under the age of 18.
